Q. What are the different types of job boards available?
A. The Marketplace contains thousands of media channels globally. It is also not limited to traditional job boards. Media channels in the Marketplace typically fall into three main categories:
- Standard Boards—These are traditional, large-reach job boards with a large number of active job seekers. They can be international boards, such as Indeed, or nation/regional-focused job boards, such as Total Jobs in the U.K.
- Niche Boards – These sites are focused on a narrower audience, which could be a particular industry (such as Engineering) or a job function (such as a Software Developer). The traffic volume to these sites is usually lower than generic sites because they target a specific demographic.
- Social Channels—The Marketplace contains a large number of social media advertising options, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit. These options use a CPC (cost-per-click) budget and targeting methods to optimize and display ads to these platforms' users.
