Standard CWS Changes

Please submit a Help Center ticket to request any of these changes.

  • Reference a link to a CSS file. The file will override the default styling of your careers page. Additional information can be found here.
  • Introductory text above the listing. You can provide custom language to replace the text.
  • Your career site form contains the following mandatory default fields.
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • Resume - Resumes can be made optional. Supported resume file formats:
      • pdf
      • doc
      • docs
      • txt
      • rtf
      • html
      • htm
      • png
      • jpeg
      • jpg
      • gif
      • xlsx
      • NOTE: While the following file types are supported, they might not be parsable. The following file types are expected to be non-parsable:
        • Image file uploaded as a resume - Image files, such as .jpeg or .png, are accepted through some application channels; however, they are not parsable by our document conversion process.
        • Image Type PDF - While these are PDF files, image-type PDFs are similarly non-parsable by Jobvite ATS systems.
        • Short text entered into the copy/paste resume option - One of the ATS apply options for resumes is to paste the resume content as pure text. When a jobseeker enters a very short text string into the text box, such as "N/A", "None", "No", or "No Resume", our parser is unable to handle it and outputs a .txt file containing a short string of special characters.
  • We can add custom fields to the form, allowing you to collect more information about candidates. Here are the commonly added fields. You have the option of making custom fields mandatory.
      • How did you hear about us? (Twitter, Facebook, Indeed, Simply Hired, LinkedIn, Career Site, Other)
      • Specify (Other)
      • Referral (Employee Name)
      • Desired Salary
  • The Apply with LinkedIn button can be enabled on your career site form, allowing candidates to attach their LinkedIn profiles to their applications. Candidates who attach their LinkedIn profiles are not required to upload their resumes.
  • Remove the logo and adjust the width to 100%. This will allow your careers page to resize itself inside an iframe and live seamlessly.
  • After successfully integrating your iframe, you should request a redirect immediately. This will forward all candidates from job boards and job links to your careers page. You'll have to provide a link to where the iframe is integrated.
  • Unique URLs can be enabled to link candidates directly to job pages on your iFrame-integrated career site. This will allow every job page to have its unique URL.
