Overview
There are several ways a candidate can be added to a requisition in Evolve ATS:
- From the dashboard, using the Add Candidate Links widget
- From the requisition directly
- Through the Candidates tab - List View
- Through the Candidates tab - Carded View
- Through the candidate profile

Add from Candidate Link
From the dashboard, scroll down and click Add Candidate from the Links widget.
Continue to the Add Application Form section.
NOTE: Those with just the Employee role (and all other roles) in Evolve ATS can also add a candidate to a requisition using the Refer a Friend option in the Links widget.
Add from Requisition
Navigate and open the desired requisition. Click + Add Candidate.
Continue to the Add Application Form section.

Once you've selected a candidate, you must fill out the candidate's details in the Add Application Form.
When filling out this form, there are several areas to complete:
- Upload Resume - You can choose to upload a candidate's resume as a file or Paste Resume if it's in a certain text format.
- Please complete the Required Fields (marked by an asterisk). Typical required fields include First Name, Last Name, and Email.
- Application Source - This may be important for your company, especially if you have a referral program. You can select the employee who referred the candidate and mark them as the Source so they receive proper referral credit.
After adding the information, scroll to the Select Requisitions section and click Add to Requisitions.
NOTE: If you do not select a requisition, the candidate will be added as a general application candidate.
Select the desired requisition(s) and click Add.
Click Save.
Candidates Tab - List View
To move or add an existing candidate to a requisition, navigate to the Candidates tab.
Check the box next to the desired candidate's name.
Click the Actions dropdown and select
Select the desired requisition(s) and click Add.
Candidates Tab - Carded View
To move or add an existing candidate to a requisition, navigate to the Candidates tab.
In the carded view, select the dropdown next to the candidate's name. Select either Add to Requisition or Move Candidate.
NOTE: This action can only be taken with one application/candidate at a time. Use the list view for bulk actions and to select more than one candidate.
Candidate Profile
Within a candidate's profile, click the + icon next to the name.
Select whether you would like to add the candidate to a requisition or move them from to another.
NOTE: Moving a candidate to another requisition means removing them from one requisition and moving them to another. Adding to a Requisition means adding them to an additional Requisition—i.e., two different jobs.
