Q. How are limited listings different from LinkedIn Job Slots and LinkedIn Job Posts?
A. LinkedIn Job Slots / Posts retain all of their existing functionality, but limited listings differ in the following ways:
- Limited listings only appear in search after relevant LinkedIn Job Slots and Posts and do not appear in the recommendations throughout the site (e.g., the “Jobs You May Be Interested In” module and email, the “Work With Us” ads, the “Similar jobs” recommendations, etc.). This means that they are only visible to the subset of our members who are actively looking for jobs.
- Posters are not able to manage limited listings in Recruiter (or online, through Linkedin.com), meaning that they don’t have access to Job Analytics, suggested matches (“Talent Match,” which is being renamed as “Suggested Professionals”), people who have viewed the job, etc.
Limited listings cannot be sponsored across the site.
Q. Why should a customer keep their Job Slots on LinkedIn?
A. LinkedIn Job Slots remain the only way to reach the most relevant active and passive candidates on LinkedIn. Limited listings are only visible to candidates actively searching for jobs—and after relevant LinkedIn Jobs—but LinkedIn Job Slots automatically surface to suitable candidates throughout the LinkedIn experience. As a result, we expect that LinkedIn Job Slots will receive much more engagement than limited listings.
Q. How do I know that candidate traffic came from LinkedIn Limited Listings?
A. Evolve RM uses a unique identifier for traffic from LinkedIn Limited Listings: BID 56. We recommend that you map this Talemetry (Evolve RM) source identifier in your ATS so that you can see the source of these candidates. If you require assistance, please submit a Help Center ticket.
Q. What do I need to do to use the LinkedIn Limited Listings?
A. Please submit a Help Center ticket to activate this job board if you have any questions.
