Overview
Field-mapped approval Chains allow customers to manage their approval chains in Evolve ATS. While this does require configuration to start, once completed, it is very easy for Evolve customers to manage and make changes as needed.
It is recommended that you build and test this process in your staging environment first before adding it to your production environment.

Create Approval Chain
Add a new custom field such as HRBP with Field Type - Employee.
Create as many custom fields as needed for the approvers. For example, if you only need two approvers, then you need to create two custom fields.
NOTE: The custom field type must be Employee.
Submit a Help Center ticket for the backend configuration to be completed.
After Evolve Support has finished the backend configuration, a new field mapping CSV file will be uploaded in your Evolve Admin settings under Admin > ATS > Field Mapping.
Create a Field Mapping file with the Parent field driving the approvers’ email addresses.
NOTE: The custom field must already be created and used in a requisition template for this configuration.
Now, you can upload new files as often as you want to adjust the chain. However, if you need to add additional custom fields to the approval chain, Support will need to be involved in updating the backend configuration.
