Overview
Existing requisition templates can be cloned in Evolve ATS, or admin users can create new ones. Admin users can create multiple requisition templates to customize the requisition information they want to capture. Requisition templates can be created based on different locations, job types, or position levels to capture the most relevant information.

Create Requisition Template
Navigate to your user menu > Admin > ATS > View Requisition Library > View Requisition Templates.
From this screen, you can create new requisitions templates by either:
- Cloning an existing requisition template
- Building a new requisition template
Clone Exiting Requisition Template
You can save time by cloning and customizing an existing requisition.
Click the action menu (…) for the template you want to copy, then select Clone.
Click the edit icon next to the template name.
Update the form name, then click Done.
NOTE: The Form Code will automatically update when you update the template name.
Click the edit icon for the description, then click Done.
Within the Requisition Templates:
- Add Available Requisition Fields by dragging the available field and dropping it into the desired section of the Form.
- Remove fields by hovering over the section on the Form and then click the delete icon.
- Click the edit icon next to the field and update the field configurations as needed, then click Done.

Click Save.
Create New Requisition Template
If you don’t want to clone an existing requisition template, you can create a new one from scratch.
Click + Add Requisition Template.
Complete the following fields in the Details section:
- Requisition Template Name
- Requisition Template Code (will auto-populate when the name is added)
- Description (optional)
Within the Create Template section:
- The following fields will be added by default to any newly created requisition template:
- Posting Type
- Publishing Options
- Title
- Openings
- Category
- Apply Form
- Location
- Hiring Manager
- Expand the Available Requisition Fields dropdown, then drag/drop the fields into the desired location within the Form.
- Click the edit icon next to the field and update the field configurations as needed, then click Done.
- Required
- Trigger Approvals
- Modify Role Access
- Add Instructions
Click Next.
Review the template.
Click Save as Active to start using the form. If you are not ready for the form to be used, click Save to save it as Inactive.
