Overview
Orchestrators in Evolve ATS can use process templates created by onboard admins to onboard individual new hires in the Onboard tab. If you want to select multiple new hires at once, see the Bulk Onboarding New Hires article.

Onboard Individual New Hire
Initiate Onboarding
Recruiters can initiate onboarding a candidate profile page by moving the candidate to the Onboarding workflow. This will send the candidate to Onboarding, where the orchestrator can perform the following steps.
Navigate to the candidate profile, click the Workflow drop-down, then select Onboarding.
Onboarding Kickoff
Orchestrators can check the new hire list to find candidates who were sent to Onboarding. These candidates are ready to be onboarded, and the orchestrator can kick off the process.
Navigate to the Onboard tab > New Hires tab.
Click Start in the Actions column for the candidate who should begin the onboarding process.
All available onboarding process templates will be displayed. Select the one appropriate for the new hire's position and location. Then, select a Start Date.
Click Start Onboarding.
Before sending the Welcome email to the new hire, you can make any of the following changes:
- An ad-hoc task that is specific to this new hire can be added.
- Watchers can be added to the process. Watches will be notified as any updates happen.
- The tasks can be reordered.
- The hiring manager can be changed.
- The orchestrator can be changed.
Once all adjustments have been made, click Start Onboarding.
A timeline preview will be displayed, outlining the milestones. Click Onboard now.
When onboarding begins, the process can be accessed from Onboard > All Onboardings. The list provides overall status' in percentages and outlines key dates.
