NOTE: Once you create a custom field, you cannot delete it. You can only mark it as Inactive. You also cannot change the field type once it has been created (for example, you can't change a checkbox to a radio button).

You can select the type from the dropdown. See the examples below for an option without encryption (Single select dropdown) and an option with encryption (single-line text).

NOTE: You can change the name in the future. However, you cannot change the field code once you save it.

Select an Option set:

  • Standard option set – Include the Evolve standard list options: Country Code, Country, Gender, State Type, Currency, and State. Click Save.
  • Shared option set—This includes a custom list of option sets created by your Evolve ATS admin. Select the desired option set and click Next. Then, follow the steps for creating an option set.
  • Create new option set – You will click Create option set > add the desired values as needed > click Finish Adding Options > click Finish.

Single-line Text field

Select Single-line Text, and select if you want the data to be encrypted. Click Create.

NOTE: Some field types support storing collected data as encrypted. You should choose this option when the related information is sensitive and should be handled securely. Users with Human Resources and Onboard Orchestrator roles can view the field (and its contents) even though it's encrypted.
