Q. Do you need the Zoom United Business account when integrating with Zoom?
A. You can use the Zoom Pro, Business, or United Business account when integrating with Zoom.
Q. Does our Zoom Admin need to install the Jobvite Zoom app from Zoom's mZoom'slace?
A. No. Jobvite'Jobvite'sp will be downloaded/installed when your admin enables the Zoom integration within Evolve ATS.
Q. What information is stored when an Admin enables the Video Conference integration?
A. When the customer's admin enables Video Conference, they are redirected to their video conferencing vendor for authentication. Upon authentication, the vendor provides Evolve with two tokens: an Access Token and a Refresh Token. Evolve does NOT store the Admin's Admin'sonference login credentials. Evolve also stores the Account ID and Meeting ID.
Q. Is the token from the video conference vendor (i.e., Zoom) unique and one-time?
A. Zoom follows standard Oauth 2.0 authentication processes; we receive two types of tokens for one client ID per customer on Admin authentication: Access token and Refresh token. The Access token has a validity of one hour and needs to be refreshed every hour for usage using the Refresh token. The Refresh token is valid for 15 years, but if an Admin disconnects and connects again, the authentication process will start over, and we will receive a new pair of tokens. The method mentioned above was based on suggestions from Zoom: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/guides/auth/oauth
Q. Will the token be assigned on the Evolve user or client levels?
A. The token is per client and not specific to each user since our app uses account-level authentication with Zoom.
Q. Does Evolve store users' conference login credentials?
A. Evolve does not prompt or store the users' conference login credentials.
Q. What information does Evolve store from the video conference vendor?
A. Evolve stores the Client ID and Meeting ID.
Q. Why doesn't the conference Meeting ID or URL display within the CandidatCandidate'sw tab?
A. Evolve doesn't use the Meeting ID or URL for security purposes. Only those individuals scheduled to attend the interview should have access to the Meeting ID or URL sent via the Interview Invitation email.
Q. Does Evolve send the Host or Join URL to the interviewers or interviewees?
A. Evolve only sends the Join URL. This is to protect the meeting so an individual does not receive the Host key and make changes to the video conference settings.
Q. How are meeting settings determined (e.g., waiting room)? Are people muted when they join the meetings?
A. Evolve does not specify any settings while creating a meeting. Zoom will determine the settings based on the user level or account level.
