The ability to update user roles in Evolve ATS helps ensure accurate access and a smooth recruiting process.

Update User Roles

Roles may be assigned or updated via Import/Sync or manually. The steps below will guide you through updating user roles manually. For more information about the employee sync and import, please see the Users Module—Employee Import and Sync.  

NOTE: If you use an import/sync and manually update a user profile, it sets a "flag" on the back end that the profile is being manually managed and will be excluded for v2 import changes. This flag can be removed by performing a reset sync. 

Manually Update User Roles Individually

Navigate to your User Menu, then select Users.

 Click View Employee List.

Click the Search box and enter one of the following:

  • The employee’s Name
  • The employee’s Email
  • The employee's User ID

Click the search icon.

Click the user’s name.

Click Edit.

Click the Role field to add or remove user roles.

Click Save.

Repeat this process for each user as needed.

Manually Bulk Update User Roles

Navigate to your user menu > Users > View Employee List.

Select the checkbox next to the name of the user(s) to whom you wish to assign the new role.

Click the Actions drop-down list and select Add Role(s).

In the Update Role popup, select one or more roles you wish to assign.

Click Update.

Repeat this process as needed.
