Add Offer Letter Templates

Overview

Offer letter templates are easy to add and maintain in Evolve ATS. An offer letter template is a Word document used when submitting an offer to a candidate. The template should contain placeholders for candidate and requisition information. The Word file used by Evolve will automatically generate offer letter documents.

Prerequisites

To use the Offer Letters feature, admins must enable Generate Offer Letters. This can be turned on by navigating to your user menu > Admin > ATS > View Candidate Settings. Enable Offer Letter Generation. See Native eSignature for Offer Letters Configuration.

Add Offer Letter

Navigate to your user menu > Admin > ATS > View Offer Settings > View Offer Letter Templates.

Click Edit for the desired Offer Letter Template.

Click Add New Template.

Click Next

Within the Download Template tab, you can download the template and view available placeholders.

Click Download Template, then open the template.

Click View Placeholders.

Update your existing Offer Letter Template(s) to include the desired Placeholders.

Click Done.

NOTE: Placeholders in the lists may be copied and pasted into your Offer Letter template document. The text that appears in the offer letter for any placeholder will take on the font characteristics of the character immediately preceding the placeholder (font color, size, bold, italic, etc.).

Click Next.

Click Choose File and upload your custom offer letter template with placeholders.

Click Next.

Select the template and upload it. Fix any warnings or accept them before moving forward.

Make sure you preview the template before submitting it.
