Overview
Using the Jobvite CRM (Engage) feature within Evolve ATS, admins have the option to add new tags, rename existing tags, delete tags they no longer want to use, and choose to allow or disallow users the ability to create new tags of their own. Admins can also merge two or more existing tags.

Tag Management
Within Evolve ATS, navigate to your user menu, then click Admin.
Click CRM.
Click View Tag Management.
On the Tag Management page, you can do the following:
- Add a new tag.
- Edit an existing tag.
- Delete an existing tag.
- Select/deselect Allow users to create tags.
Add Tag
On the Tag Management page, click + Add Tag.
In the Tag Name field, add a Tag Name.
Click Save.
The new tag will be added to the Tag Management page.
Edit Tag
On the Tag Management page, click the edit icon.
In the textbox, enter a new Tag Name. NOTE: You cannot rename a tag to match another tag. Tag names must be unique.
Click Save. NOTE: The old tag will be removed, and all contacts with the previous tag will be updated with the new one.
Delete Tag
On the Tag Management page, click the delete icon.
Click Delete to confirm you want to delete the tag.
The tag will be removed from the Tag Management page.
Allow Users to Create Tags
On the Tag Management page, click the checkbox to Allow users to create tags.
Selecting this option will allow users to define new tags when tagging contacts. If this option is not selected, only admins can define new tags from this page. Anyone with an Engage seat can add new tags via a contact profile or import; however, if it is unchecked, they can only use the tags locked down within the Tag Management page.
Consolidate Tags
As a best practice, you want to use a single tag for a single purpose.
For this example, we have BD and Business Development, which both mean Business Development.
From the Evolve ATS Dashboard, navigate to the Pipeline tab.
On the left side of the screen, click Tags +.
Click the Add Tags dropdown.
Select the tag you want to change; this will filter your contacts to only those with this tag. For this example, we are filtering by bd.
Click the checkbox next to Name to select all contacts.
Click the Actions dropdown.
Click Add Tag.
Add the tag you want to consolidate. For this example, we are adding the business development tag.
Click Save. These contacts will now have both the bd and business development tags.
Navigate to your user menu > Admin > CRM > View Tag Management.
Click the delete icon next to the tag you want to remove. Since we just added the business development tag to all the contacts with the bd tag, they will all be consolidated under business development.
Click Delete to confirm you want to delete the tag.
