Collaborative hiring (Share application) is a team-based approach to hiring. Inputs are taken from key members of the hiring team during screening, interviewing, and post-interview decision-making. Team members can have natural conversations regarding the candidate in a social media style through the candidate Feed in Evolve ATS.
NOTE: If you do not want to have this feature active in your system, admins can disable it by navigating to their user menu > Admin > ATS > View Candidate Settings > disable Collaborative Hiring.

Who Benefits from Collaborative Hiring?
- Companies that have designated Screeners or Resume Reviewers that screen resumes on behalf of hiring managers. Many companies have provided such employees with the Hiring Manager role just so they can screen resumes – this is not necessary with collaborative hiring.
- Companies that have a team-based recruiting culture where hiring managers, recruiters, and key employees jointly participate in screening and hiring of candidates.
- Recruiters that use the Send Note (Forward Resume) feature but want to grant (to the recipient of the resume) access to the candidate’s profile to leave feedback.
Share Application via Web Browser
Navigate to the candidate’s profile in Evolve ATS, then click the plus icon next to their name.
Click Share Application.
Add the recipient (collaborator) in the To field.
Add any desired comments, and click Share.
Collaborate
Invited employees (collaborators) will receive an email or push notification that a candidate’s application has been shared with them. Clicking the push notification redirects the user directly to the candidate’s profile where they can review the candidate by writing a post in the Feed.
Members of the extended hiring team (recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and collaborators) can continue to discuss the candidate by posting new reviews or liking/commenting on another user's posts in the Feed – as long as the candidate is under review (not rejected or hired). Posts and comments can be viewed by all members of the collaborative team. Email and push notifications are also sent to promote engagement. The entire list of candidates under review is available under the Collaboration List tab.

Navigate to the Candidates tab, and select the desired candidate.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Share.
Add the desired collaborators.
Tap Share.
Tap Ok.

Reject
If the candidate does not meet the job requirements, start the rejection process by tapping Reject.
Select the desired disposition.
Choose to send a rejection email or not, then tap Reject.
