Overview

Using the Employee Sync feature in Evolve ATS, you can easily mass-update employee email addresses.

Important Information

If you plan to change your company domain, please submit a Help Center Ticket before updating information in Evolve ATS. Please include a list of employees you will upload to Evolve ATS if you use Single Sign On (SSO) and the SSO client.

Mass Update Email Using Employee Sync

Within Evolve ATS, navigate to your user menu, then click Users.

Click View Employee List.

Click Get Employee Data.

Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Excel.

In the spreadsheet, update employee emails with the new email addresses. NOTE: The UserID (included in the downloaded data) must remain on the uploaded file, as it can replace EmployeeID to change email addresses.

Save the file to your computer.

Navigate back to Evolve ATS, then click Import.

Click Upload File and select the Microsoft Excel file you previously saved.

Click Next.

Match the columns in your upload file to those enabled in Map with CSV column.

Click Submit.

Post Upload

After updating your email address, you must use the Forgot password? link under the Sign-In box on the login page to reset your access. This is because your previous access is tied to a specific email address.

When selecting the Forgot password? link, you will receive an email that will take you to a page where you can update your password. Changing the current password is unnecessary; you can re-enter your current password (if desired), and your access will be reset with the current email address/username.

If you are unable to log in after a password reset, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

Open an incognito window in Chrome (which ensures that your browser cache does not reference the previous login username) by using CTRL + SHIFT + N.

Go to https://app.jobvite.com/login/login.html, enter your new email address, and click Forgot password? below the Sign-in box. This is because your previous access is tied to a specific email address.

Open your email to access the reset link, ideally in another tab in the incognito window. It is recommended that you continue working in a new session where the reset page does not reference your previous email username.

On the reset page, you do not need to change your password; you can simply re-enter your current password to update your access with the new email username.
