Background:
Currently, on Talemetry Recruitment Marketing with Intelligent Message, we support an SMS Consent Unknown status and Yes and No. A handful of scenarios exist in which a candidate can enter or be created in the system without providing explicit SMS consent status (Yes or No). I these scenarios a candidate should have an Unknown status.
Solution:
We aim to provide product parity between Talemetry Recruiter Marketing and our Intelligent Messaging solution. We will synch any Unknown SMS consent status from Talemetry Recruitment Marketing into Legacy Canvas (Intelligent Messaging). For any candidate with an Unknown status, the system will prevent any mass outbound text campaigns (Amplify Bots). One-to-one is allowed; however, best practices for this scenario would be the first message sent should contain Opt-out instructions (Reply Stop to no longer receive Tests) as well as gaining consent to receive communication via text message in the future. This is the same way texting within Talemetry Recruiter Marketing works today.
