Introduction
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is a standard email authentication mechanism that helps to improve email deliverability and avoid being detected as spam (see: https://techterms.com/definition/dkim). For a third-party tool such as Evolve Recruitment Marketing (RM) sending emails on behalf of your company, using DKIM can ensure that the candidate's email service can trust that the email has been sent from a trusted server.
The settings for Allow List Domains are a way to set up validated domain servers that can be used to send emails on behalf of your company's domain. To prove this, your company's network administrators need to create DNS entries on your domain to prove that Evolve RM can send emails on behalf of that domain.
A domain should be registered for each From Email Address domain your company uses (if you have multiple domains or brands).

Add New Domain
Navigate to your user menu, then click Security.
Click Email Domain Authorization.
Click Add New Domain.
Add a Domain Name (example: abccompany.com).
Click Save.
NOTE: You can only add a specific domain once across all companies. You should add a company domain to your company's production account. Once the domain is verified, you can send DKIM-signed emails from your production and development (dev) accounts.
Once the domain is entered, a series of subdomains is defined. For each of the subdomains, your company's network administrator will need to create DNS entries as shown in the list using the provided values:
The DNS records need to be CNAME records.
Example: cu0._domainkey.abccompany.com CNAME cu0.domainkey.u2292287.wl038.sendgrid.net
List of Domains and Status
You will see it on the list when at least one domain is defined. The domain's status will be Pending, Verified, or Failed.
Click the Domain Name.
Check the specific verification status of each entry or request verification.
Verify Domain
Once the company's network administrator has made the appropriate DNS entries, you can verify the domain.
Navigate to your user menu, then click Security.
Click Email Domain Authorization.
Click the Domain Name.
Click Verify to check each DNS entry.
If each of the requested DNS entries is correct, you will see confirmation that the domain is now verified and ready to use.
Once a verified domain is activated, Campaigns automatically automates the DKIM process.
When an email is sent from a domain in the Allow List Domain, Evolve RM’s email provider, Sendgrid, automatically signs the email with the DKIM keys and sends it on behalf of the domain.
Example: If the domain abccompany.com is registered, and the email is sent from john@abccompany.com, then Sendgrid will assign DKIM keys to the email and deliver it from the domain abccompany.com.
NOTE: If the domain is not verified or the domain is not the same as the email address domain, the emails go out as typically signed with DKIM from the talemetryservice.com domain.
Delete Domain
Navigate to your user menu, then click Security.
Click Email Domain Authorization.
Click Delete next to the domain you wish to delete.
The domain will be removed from the Allow List Domains page.
