Introduction
In Evolve Recruitment Marketing (RM), the Previous Application step collects a verification code when a candidate requests to use the most recent application (in the last 30 days) completed for the same company and the same email address entered on the welcome page. This step is only available if enabled on the Welcome Step.

Configuration
Standard Workflow Configuration
Navigate to your user menu, then click Applications.
Select Apply, then click Workflows.
Select a standard workflow that has the Previous Application step on.
Click Edit beside the Previous Application step.
You can configure the following information:

Step Title
- This information is shown as the text in the step tab or menu.
- A maximum of 20 characters can be used.

Page Title
- This information is shown as the title on the step page.

Verification Code Edit Label
- This information is shown as the verification code box label.

Next Button Label
- This is the text shown to move to the next page.
- Clicking this will move the candidate to the next step in the apply process (with code verified or with no code).

Back Button Label
- This is the text shown on the back button.

Page Text
- This is the body text shown to the candidates before the verification code edit box.
- Using simple HTML and fonts is recommended.
- NOTE: Adding images is not recommended.
Language Workflow Configuration
On the Language Workflows page, select a language workflow with the Previous Application step on.
Click Edit beside the Previous Application step.

Candidate Experience
The following is what the Previous Application step could look like to the candidate:
- Email Samples
- Previous Application (same email address, same company, within last 30 days). The email merge code to add in the template to present the Verification Code is {{apply_code}}.
- Previous Application not found.
- Enter the verification code.
