Introduction
In Evolve Recruitment Marketing (RM), the Questions (1-3) steps are meant to collect answers to questions from the candidate as part of the application. Using separate pages, you can configure questions to be grouped logically together.
The following are common use cases for the Questions step:
- Collect general requirements of all jobs a person must have to be eligible.
- Collect VEVRAA or other compliance data from candidates on all jobs.
If your company has job-specific questions, you could set up a Dynamic Questions step (which can display different questions per job).

Question Settings
Standard
When editing Questions 1-3 for a standard workflow, you can add questions for the candidate to answer on the step by clicking +Add question.
Choose questions from the drop-down menu. The drop-down menu will show all questions not already configured to be answered on the current workflow (on the current page or other pages).
You can configure each added question to be Required. If required, the candidate must answer the question to continue. NOTE: You must add questions to the Welcome page in the order you want them answered.
You can remove a question by clicking Remove.
If you add Conditional Questions (Apply Workflow), the parent and all related child questions are added to the step. If the parent question is removed, the child questions are automatically removed.
The child questions are shown as italicized.
The logic of conditional questions determines the required flag on the parent and each of the children. NOTE: You cannot change this on the workflow step.
Language
When editing Questions 1-3 for a language workflow, you can add questions for the candidate to answer on the step by clicking + Add question.
From the drop-down menu, click the + next to the question to add it. The drop-down will show all questions not already configured to be answered on the current workflow (on the current page or other pages). NOTE: If the globe in front of the question is green, all questions are configured for the languages on the brand. If the globe icon in front of the question is orange, some language questions are missing.
You can configure each added question to be Required. If required, the candidate must answer the question to continue. NOTE: The order of the questions on the Welcome page will be in the order displayed to the candidate.
You can remove a question by clicking the delete icon.
You can change the question order by clicking the double line and dragging and dropping the question to the desired order.
