Public and Private Templates

Introduction

In Evolve Recruitment Marketing (RM), you can easily manage templates using Public and Private templates. Recruiters can create and use private templates, while Company Administrators control which templates are public or private.

Audience

Company Administrator - Requires Manage Template privilege

Recruiter

Important Information

Company Administrators will have the Manage Template privilege by default.
Company Administrators can assign the Manage Template privilege to other roles, allowing other users to create/edit public templates.
By default, all users can create private templates.
All existing templates created before January 2025 will be made public.
Users without the Manage Template privilege can clone public templates, but will not be able to edit them.

Create a Public or Private Template

Select the Campaigns tab, then click Templates.

Select one of the template options:

Candidate Templates
Portal Templates
Referral Templates
Agency Templates
SMS Templates

You can then choose one of the following:

Add New Template
Edit Template
Clone Template

On the new or edit template screen, you can select the Visibility drop-down and choose whether the template will be Private or Public.

The template list pages also display the template's visibility.
