The Job Board Disposition Sync feature enables Recruitment Marketing (RM) administrators to enable or disable sharing hiring signals with candidates and seamlessly map candidate states to standard Indeed and ZipRecruiter dispositions. This helps candidates gain visibility into their application states within job board platforms where they have applied. By configuring disposition mapping within RM, recruiters can maintain candidate status updates in alignment between systems without requiring manual effort.
NOTE: ZipRecruiter will not display dispositions to candidates within their platform. Data is not anonymized before being sent to ZipRecruiter because we are updating applications that originated in the ZipApply process. ZipRecruiter already has the data; we are just providing a disposition update.

Configuration
Navigate to your user menu, then click Applications.
Select Analytics, then click Source Tracking.
Enable the toggle next to the desired job board(s).
Click View Mappings. NOTE: If you disable the toggle, View Mappings will not be clickable until the Indeed checkbox is reselected.
Based on your selection, the View Mappings pop-up will be displayed. For example, if you select View Mappings next to Indeed, the pop-up shows the following information:
- Recruitment Marketing States – This column automatically provides all candidate states available in Applications > Analytics > Source Tracking.
- Indeed States - This column automatically pulls all the dispositions that Indeed supports.
If a candidate (with source as Indeed and/or Indeed Apply) is moved from one state to another, the disposition should be updated to Indeed per the predefined mapping above.
Similarly, if you select View Mappings next to ZipRecruiter, the pop-up shows the following information:
