After a Jobvite (JV) ATS requisition has been approved, the status does not automatically change to Open. You will need to change the status to Open. You can also reopen requisitions that have previously been Closed or On Hold.
Below is a list of the default requisition statuses in JV ATS:
- Active - Requisitions in the following statuses: Open, Approved, Awaiting Approval, Rejected, Retracted, Draft.
- Awaiting Approval – The requisition has been submitted for approval.
- Closed – The requisition was closed without a hire.
- Draft – The requisition has not yet been submitted for approval, or it was edited and requires new approval, but it hasn’t been submitted yet.
- Filled – The requisition was closed with a hire.
- Inactive – The requisition is Filled, Closed, or On Hold.
- On Hold – The requisition was open but temporarily put on hold.
- Open – The requisition was approved and posted (Internal/External) or not posted if marked as Limited Access.
- Rejected – The requisition was rejected by approvers.
- Retracted – The requisition was retracted from the approval process.
- Approved – The requisition has been approved and needs to be opened.

Open a Requisition
Click the Requisitions tab, then select a requisition that is in the Approved status.
Click Open.
The requisition status will change to Open.
Reopen a Requisition
Click the Requisitions tab, then select a requisition that is in the Closed or On Hold status.
Click Open.
The requisition status will change to Open.
