Candidate Dispositions

Candidate Dispositions in Jobvite ATS are used to provide additional context as to why a candidate was or was not selected. You can add, edit, or delete dispositions from the candidate dispositions list. The following are the default candidate dispositions:

  • Not interviewed
  • Phone interview & no match
  • Interviewed & no match
  • Compensation
  • Relocation
  • Candidate withdrew
  • Offer declined
  • Hired

Additionally, you can enable a setting to require recruiters to provide a disposition when an offer is rejected by a candidate.

Audience

Administrators 

View Candidate Dispositions

Navigate to your user menu, then select Admin.

Click ATS.

Click View Candidate Dispositions.

The Candidate Dispositions page displays a list of your current candidate dispositions.

Add Candidate Disposition

On the Candidate Dispositions page, click Add Disposition.

On the New Candidate Disposition pop-up, add a name for the disposition.

Click Save.

The new disposition will be added to the list of candidate dispositions.

Edit a Candidate Disposition

On the Candidate Dispositions page, click the edit icon next to the disposition you want to edit.

On the Edit Candidate Disposition pop-up, edit the name for the disposition.

Click Save.

The edited disposition will be updated on the list of candidate dispositions.

Delete Candidate Disposition

NOTE: Deleting a disposition will remove it from the candidate profile (record), resulting in impacts to historical data and reporting.

On the Candidate Dispositions page, click the delete icon next to the disposition you want to delete.

On the confirmation pop-up, click Yes.

The disposition will be removed from the list of candidate dispositions.

Require a Disposition when an Offer is Rejected by the Candidate

You also have the option to enable a setting to require recruiters to provide a disposition when an offer is rejected by a candidate.

Navigate to your user menu > Admin > ATS > View Candidate Settings.

At the bottom of the page, click Edit.

Under Require recruiters to provide a disposition when an offer is rejected by candidate, click Enabled.

Click Save.
