Standard Job Fields

Follow

Standard job fields allow you to map your internal ATS fields to a standard Recruitment Marketing (RM) field that can also be searched and displayed inside RM. These fields can be added to job broadcast feeds for external job boards to utilize, and they can also be renamed to make them more meaningful for your organization.

On the Edit Standard Job Field page, you can edit the following information:

  • Label -  This is the text that you will see when viewing a job's details page. This field is required.
  • Name - While required, this field cannot be changed for standard job fields.
  • Field Type - This option will allow you to change the field type for the standard fields. Selecting certain types will give you access to more options. String, Boolean, and Integer do not trigger any further options, but selecting List or Centralized List requires additional information:
    • List Values - This is where you will set up the values available for the field. Each value must be on its own line in the format "Label:Value".  The label is what the value will show up as on the job's details page, and the value is what we receive from the ATS. For example: "Full Time:FT".
    • Centralized List Value - Here, you can select the existing Centralized list that this field will use.  You can set up a new Centralized list by navigating to Applications > Common > Centralized List and setting up a new list.
  • Show in XML Feed - If enabled, this field will appear on the Job Board feeds, Generic XML, and Custom Fields XML.
  • Feed Node Mapping - This feature displays the location of the field in the XML received from the ATS when a job is synced. This should correspond with a field in your ATS if it has been set up for synchronization.
  • Enable as filter for jobs - If enabled, this will allow the field to be used to filter jobs in the All Jobs or List of Jobs context.
