Notifications Settings
Recruitment Marketing (RM) has a notification system that allows you to see all of your important activities in one place. You can configure your settings if you want to get an email for each single notification, or you want to opt for a daily notifications digest, or you don’t want any emails and will access all notifications directly in RM. You can specify your notification preferences based on your work habits. By default, all notifications are displayed in the Notifications Center when you are logged in. In addition, some important notifications will be emailed to you, in particular: errors and some warnings happening as a result of their activity in the Talent modules (failed new import, or errors in auto search), and notifications about reports being ready for download. You can change your preferences to have no emails at all or to get more email notifications.
RM has three groups of notifications:
Talent - Any mass action performed with candidates' records in RM. Some examples include Mass Add to Folder, Send Mass Email, Send Mass SMS, Add All to Email Campaign, Add Tags to All, etc.
Reports - Any report downloaded from RM, as well as the Candidates CSV downloaded from any talent list.
Candidate Sourcing - Candidates added to your folder or job by other users, or via auto-search or automated sourcing, by an external agency, or as a referral.
From the Account Settings menu, select Notifications.
The following information is available on the Notifications page:
-
Talent - Control notification emails by clicking the bell icon under Silent, Normal, or Loud. Each setting shows its description once clicked.
Silent - All notifications will show in the Notification Center and not be emailed.
Normal (set as default for all users) - All notifications will show in the Notification Center, reports and errors will be emailed.
Loud - All notifications will show in the Notification Center and be emailed.
-
Digest - Receive a daily email summary of all notifications for the corresponding group.
All notifications will be added to a daily digest email. This email is sent once per day at around 7 am based on your timezone. If you selected Digest for more than one group, you will get one email with notifications from all the selected groups.
Notifications in the digest are organized by type first (e.g., Add to Folder, or Import), then within each type is the summary of the notifications. You can combine Digest with any other setting. For example, if you have selected Silent for Digest for Talent, you will not get any email notifications during the day, but the next morning at 7 am, you will get one email with all notifications related to your previous day's work with Source & CRM.
Some notifications will have links that will allow access to a specific notification target, such as a folder or report CSV. You will be required to be logged in.

Notification Examples
Toast Notifications
When a notification is created in the Notifications Center, a toast pop-up is briefly displayed. NOTE: The toasts are not created for Talent notifications with Silent enabled.
The system will not create more than three toasts for the notifications of the same type. For example, when more than three auto-searches are completed at the same time, only three notification toasts will be created. They will be accompanied by the toast indicating that there are more similar notifications available.
