Currently, there isn’t an official way to block or blacklist candidates from applying to jobs. This is due to legal and compliance considerations regarding the restriction of access to publicly available positions.
Recommended Workarounds
While direct blocking isn’t supported, many customers use the following approaches to manage candidates who should not be considered for future roles:
Use Collections to Track Candidates Not for Consideration
You can create a dedicated Collection (for example, “Do Not Consider” or “Not Eligible”) and add these candidates to it.
Recruiters can reference this collection during the review process to ensure that candidates in this group are not moved forward.
Adjust Re-Apply Settings
In your account settings, you can set a specific date range that determines how soon a candidate can reapply for a position.
This helps manage the frequency of repeat applications from the same individual.
Navigate to your user menu > Admin > ATS > Requisition Settings.
