This article provides an overview of common Intelligent Messaging errors, including what each error means and the steps you can take to resolve them.

Error - This Candidate or Phone Number is Already ATS Integrated
Explanation: Intelligent Messaging can link only one phone number to one email address/candidate. If a candidate was contacted before, they cannot be contacted again with another email address.
Resolution: Delete the existing candidate profile on the Intelligent Messaging side so the phone number is freed up for use with the new email address. This can be performed via the following steps:
In Intelligent Messaging (which can be accessed via the 9-box drop-down menu in the upper-left corner), navigate to the Candidates tab.
Click All.
Search for the Candidate.
Click the menu icon on the right, then select Permanent Delete.
- Once that is complete, you should be able to message the candidate.
Error - Your Account Does Not Have an Assigned Phone Number
Explanation: The user has not been set up with a phone number to text candidates.

Resolution: Submit a Help Center ticket, and we can assign a number to the user.
Error - Red Triangle Appears When Trying to Send a Message to a Candidate
Explanation: There was an issue delivering a message to the candidate, which Support can review.
Resolution: Please submit a Help Center ticket to review the candidate's phone number.
