Forecasting lets analysts quickly add data projections to new or existing Explore queries to help you predict and monitor specific data points. Forecasted Explore results and visualizations can be added to Dashboards and saved as Looks. Forecasted results and visualizations can also be created and viewed on embedded Analytics content.

Forecasting
Within Analytics, navigate to the My Reports tab, then click Create New Report.
Select an Explore.
Click OK.
Click the Visualization arrow and select Forecast.
On the Forecast fly-out menu, make the following selections:
- Select fields (5 max) – Choose up to five measures to forecast.
- Length – Enter the length of time in the future you want to forecast.
- Prediction Interval – Select this toggle to select the bounds of the forecasted data values.
When you’re finished setting your forecasting selections, click Run.
