Enable Resumes as Attachments

Overview

Admins can enable resumes to be included as attachments in emails and on the different Interview Types in Evolve ATS. 

NOTE: Due to compliance regulations, you may decide not to circulate candidate resumes outside the Evolve ATS system. If so, you may want to disable the sending of resumes in interview invitation messages and simply not take measures to add the candidate's resume to interview invitation messages.

Navigate to your user menu, then select Admin.

Click Communications.

Click View Communications Settings.

Click Edit.

Under Include resume content in emails, click Enabled.

Click Save.

Update Interview Type Settings

Navigate to your user menu, then select Admin.

Click ATS.

Click View Interview Types.

Select an interview.

Click Edit.

Click the checkbox next to Include Resume as an attachment.

Click Save.

Repeat this process as needed for each interview type.

Once the setting has been saved, you can move a candidate into that particular interview type via the workflow. After you schedule the interview and get to the interviewer invitation, you will see a checkbox with Candidate resume next to it. This indicates that the resume will be attached to the message you send to your interview team.

NOTE: Sending the resume using this technique is contingent upon the resume being present in the candidate's profile. When it is unavailable elsewhere, you can use the Upload function to browse and attach the candidate's resume to the interview invitation. If you do not want the resume attached, just uncheck the box next to Candidate resume.
