Summary: There are 3 pathways to editing a task.
If you have a task you would like to edit, there are three quick and easy ways to do so:
- From the My Tasks widget on the Dashboard
- From the Tasks icon in the navigation bar
- In the candidate profile in the Tasks tab
From the My Tasks Widget on the Dashboard
From the Dashboard, navigate to the My Tasks widget.
Find the specific task you would like to edit, and click View Task. This will then bring you to the task within the specific candidate's profile to edit (see editing screenshots below).

If you want to view all tasks in your system (ones you've been assigned and assigned to others), click the Bell Icon in the navigation bar in the upper right (indicated below).
Here you can see tasks across all candidates you're associated with.
Find the task that is assigned to you (which also may be created by you) and click the+ to bring up the Edit button.
Click the Edit button to bring up your editing options (see below for Editing a Task screenshot).

If you have a task regarding a specific candidate, navigate to the candidate's profile, and click on the Tasks tab.
Find the task that is assigned to you (which also may be created by you) and click the+ to bring up the Edit button.
Click the Edit button to bring up your editing options (see below for Editing a Task screenshot).
Editing a Task
Once you've clicked the Edit button, you're given several pieces of information you can edit:
- You can edit the Due Date of the task
- If you're re-assigning the task, check the Assign to Someone box. This will produce a drop-down where you can search for another teammate to assign the task to
- You can edit the message that accompanies the task in the text box
- Click Save to update the task with your changes
