Each Jobvite account has access to two unique environments:
- Production - A working environment with all live data.
- Staging - A separate “testing” environment.
A staging environment allows you to test account configuration, new workflows, integrations, and more. Also, Jobvite users can help in beta testing new functionality and product enhancements before they are released in production.

FAQs
Q. Is my staging environment the same as a sandbox?
A. Your staging environment is not a sandbox environment that mirrors your production environment. No action taken in your staging environment will carry over to your production environment.
Q. How often does my staging account refresh with data from production?
A. The staging environment refreshes with new data from your production environment every quarter. The refresh will typically occur over a weekend, beginning on Friday evening PST and completing by Sunday afternoon PST. Any changes made in staging will be lost every time the database is refreshed. A refresh resets everything to the current state of your production environment. Please view the status page for more information on the next scheduled staging refresh.
If you are running longer-term testing in staging, complete the required configuration in production first so it is transferred to staging during a refresh.
Q. Can I send emails from my staging environment?
A. Certain users can be whitelisted for testing purposes, but only whitelisted addresses will receive emails; everything else will be blocked. Please submit a ticket via the Help Center.
Q. Is there a Service Level Agreement for my staging environment?
A. There is no Service Level Agreement for your complimentary staging environment. As the Employ team maintains the staging platform, it may be unavailable at any time without notice.
Q. Why are resumes not viewable/retrievable in my staging environment?
A. When resumes go through multiple STG2 refresh cycles, the file association can break between the reference file and the actual file. A new resume file must be uploaded to resolve the issue until the next refresh cycle.
