Overview
The Multilingual feature in the onboarding experience in Evolve ATS enables new hires to access the New Hire portal and receive email communication in their preferred language.
Audience
Recruiters, Hiring Managers
Use Case
Ability to capture the preferred language of new hires, coming from the ATS tied to a requisition, which will drive the language of the New Hire portal and email communication.
Language Configuration
When you navigate to Onboard > New Hires > and select a New Hire Name, you will see the new standard field, Preferred Language.
The value in the Preferred Language field is driven by the language set in the requisition template. This language field is automated based on the requisition template's Language for Automated Emails field. When you create a new requisition, you will see this field.
- If no preferred language is selected in the requisition, the system will default to the language associated with the location (Location field in the requisition).
- If no language is associated with the selected location, it will default to your company language configured in Admin.
