Overview

The following article covers configuring LinkedIn Premium Job Posting (paid posting) and LinkedIn Apply Connect in Evolve ATS.

Premium Job Posting

Navigate to your user menu, then select Admin.

Click View LinkedIn.

Click Edit.

Under Post to LinkedIn, click Enable and add your LinkedIn Company ID to the field.

Click Configure Paid Posting. NOTE: You will be prompted to log in to your LinkedIn Recruiter Account. You must log in as an administrator or an error message will appear. If you receive an error, log out of any/all LinkedIn accounts you have opened and restart the process to log into your LinkedIn Recruiter Admin account.

If you have multiple contacts with LinkedIn, click Continue next to the contract you want to use with the integration.

Select a default job poster. NOTE: The job poster must have Premium Job Posting associated with their LinkedIn Recruiter account to be selected.

Click Confirm.

Once you see LinkedIn's success message, click x to close the LinkedIn pop-up window.

Click Save in Evolve ATS to save your Premium Job Posting configuration.

Additional Information

  • If you click to update a post from Evolve ATS and the job has not expired, LinkedIn will create a new job post that will take up a job slot and create a duplicate job post on LinkedIn.
  • Once a job post is submitted to LinkedIn, one of the following statuses is displayed for the post in Evolve ATS:
    • In Progress—The post has been sent to LinkedIn but has not been processed yet. You cannot update a post while it is still in the In Progress status. If you try to update the post, an error message will be displayed.
    • Success - The post has been successfully posted on LinkedIn.
    • Failed - LinkedIn has rejected the post.
  • LinkedIn Premium Posting is fully compatible with Free or Limited Listing posting of jobs to LinkedIn. In cases where requisitions are selected for premium posting by an end user and have been included in limited distribution feeds, LinkedIn will convert the job from a limited listing to a paid posting during their duplicate post detection process. Please see Free Job Board Distribution for more information.
  • Conversely, Job Wrapping and Premium Posting to LinkedIn are not compatible services. Job Wrapping is a paid service from LinkedIn that arranges to scrape postings from a specific career site. If your organization does use Job Wrapping with LinkedIn, then it is best practice not to use Premium Postings to LinkedIn.

NOTE: LinkedIn Apply Connect is only available to customers not using Evolve Job Broadcast.

Click Edit.

Click Enable and enter your LinkedIn Company ID.

You can also choose to enable Sync Existing Active Requisitions to LinkedIn.

Click Save.

Apply Connect Configuration for LinkedIn RSC 

If you already use LinkedIn Recruiter, you can access an additional capability of the Apply Connect integration: the LinkedIn Profile widget.

In addition to the steps outlined in the Apply Connect instructions, LinkedIn Recruiter customers must complete a few additional steps to properly enable Apply Connect and the LinkedIn in-ATS widget.

On the LinkedIn Integrations page, click Configure LinkedIn Integrations.

If you have multiple contracts with LinkedIn, click Continue next to the contract you want to use with the integration.

Click Choose Integration.

Scroll to the Apply Package option. Select the checkbox next to Apply Package, then click Apply Connect and Applicant notifications. NOTE: Leave Apply with LinkedIn unchecked, unless you previously had Apply with LinkedIn enabled.

Click Save Changes.

Easy Apply Features

With these steps completed, you have enabled Apply Connect for prospective candidates on your LinkedIn job postings. Your job postings will now have an Easy Apply button that allows your candidates to apply seamlessly in seconds.

These applications are received directly within Evolve ATS & available from the Candidate tab with the source LinkedIn Apply Connect.

Feedback Signals

As an Apply Connect customer, Evolve ATS will send your application actions to LinkedIn to give candidates who applied via LinkedIn better insight into their application status. This feedback signal will only include abstract signals when you perform actions such as viewing the job application, downloading resumes, or rejecting an application. It does not send the candidate any notes, hiring decisions, feedback, or any confidential or company-specific information.

FAQ

Q. How do I know if Apply Connect is enabled for me?

A. Once Evolve ATS enables this feature for your company, the support team will reach out to you via email to confirm. You can proceed with the steps above after you receive confirmation from Evolve ATS.

Q. After I enable Apply Connect, do I need to post my jobs again to get Easy Apply?

A. No, all your open jobs will be automatically synced within a few hours of completing the enablement steps. Please ensure you choose the Enable option under Sync Existing Active Requisition to LinkedIn when configuring Apply Connect.

Q. Do new jobs get automatically posted to Linked with Easy Apply?

A. Yes, all open & external jobs created after you turn on the Apply Connect feature are automatically published to LinkedIn.

Q. Where can I see the applications that have come through Apply Connect?

A. All applications can be seen under the Evolve ATS Candidate tab with the source LinkedIn Apply Connect. They can also be seen under your LinkedIn Recruiter as well.

Q. I do not have Recruiter System Connect turned on for Evolve ATS. Can I still turn on Apply Connect?

A. Yes, if you have not enabled LinkedIn RSC, you can still enable Apply Connect as they operate independently.

Q. Is Apply Connect compatible with LinkedIn Job Wrapping services?

A. Yes, Apply Connect is compatible with Job Wrapping. Jobs posted via Apply Connect can be wrapped into paid job slots within Recruiter.
