Overview

Offer approvals are important to ensure your offers are sent to candidates smoothly and on time. There are multiple ways offers can be approved with Evolve ATS, such as:

  • Email
  • Evolve ATS Messages
  • Dashboard Widget
  • Hiring Team Mobile App

Audience

Recruiters, Job Approver, and Hiring Managers  

Prerequisites

To initiate an offer, recruiters can start the offer approval process by moving the candidate into the Pending Approval workflow step (this may be named differently for your company). The recruiter will enter the offer details and send the offer approval request to the appropriate approvers in sequential order.

Offer Approval Via Email

You can approve or reject requisitions, offers, and candidates submitted to hiring managers via email if enabled. To enable this admin setting, please see Enable Requisition and Offer Approvals via Email

Once enabled, approvers receive an email notification with the offer details and can quickly approve or deny the offer directly from the message by clicking Approve or Reject.

This will open an email reply to Evolve ATS indicating your response. If needed, approval notes can be added within the brackets.

The recruiter will be notified of every approval or rejection. Once all the required approvers approve the offer, the offer can be generated and extended to the candidate.

Offer Approval via Evolve ATS Messages

In addition to emails, Evolve ATS has in-product messages that can be used to approve offers.

To access Evolve ATS messages, click the notification icon, then click Messages.

Select the subject line of the message.

Within the Approve Offer Message, you can do the following: 

  • Approve
  • Reject
  • View Application

The recruiter will be notified of every approval or rejection. Once all the required approvers approve the offer, the offer can be generated and extended to the candidate.

Offer Approval Dashboard Widget

Approvers can log in to Evolve ATS to view additional details and approve directly in the product.

Approvers will log into Evolve ATS (the desktop version) and see a list of all pending offer approval requests in the dashboard widget devoted to listing My Pending Offer Approvals. They can click Approve or Reject directly from the widget.

The recruiter will be notified of every approval or rejection. Once all the required approvers approve the offer, the offer can be generated and extended to the candidate.

Offer Approval via the Hiring Team Mobile App

The offer details can be viewed and approved from the Hiring Team Mobile App. Approvers may also receive push alerts (unless disabled) to notify them that an offer is pending approval. 

Tap the Offer Approvals Pending card to view an overview of the offers.

Tap the candidate offer card to view an overview of the offer details, the approval chain, and any notes entered by previous approvers.

You can select More to view all the details of the offer.

Tap the back arrow to get back to the Reject or Approve buttons.

Tap Approve or Reject to provide your response.

The recruiter will be notified of every approval or rejection. Once all approvers approve the required offer, it can be generated and extended to the candidate.
