Overview
With Evolve ATS, you can integrate with resume databases to find the right candidate faster and expand your talent pool!
Broadbean Search has access to over 7,000+ resume databases and job boards, so this partnership helps you expand your talent pool quickly and easily and find great candidates faster. The integration will automatically add candidate information to the candidate profile with a button click.
The CareerBuilder Recruitment Edge integration with Evolve ATS allows you to export resume profiles from CareerBuilder Recruitment Edge and automatically add them as contacts inside Evolve ATS. This helps you quickly and easily expand your talent pool and find great candidates faster by diving into the CareerBuilder database of 150M resumes.

Prerequisites
You must be a Broadbean Search customer to take advantage of this integration. If you're interested in learning more, then contact partnerreferrals@broadbean.com. You must also have contracts with existing job board partners for the Broadbean Search integration to work.
You must be a CareerBuilder Recruitment Edge customer to use this integration and have at least one Engage license. If you're interested in learning more, then contact partnersales@careerbuilder.com.
After signing contracts with Broadbean Search or CareerBuilder Recruitment Edge, submit a Help Center Ticket to enable the integration.
Authorize Broadbean Search
After the integration has been enabled, you must complete the following steps to finalize the integration.
Navigate to your user menu, then click My Account.
Click Authorized Apps.
Under the Integrations menu, click Connect next to Broadbean.
In the Broadbean popup window, enter your Broadbean Username. NOTE: This is typically your email address.
Click Save.
Using Broadbean Search
Navigate to the Sourcing tab, then click Broadbean.
The Broadbean application is iFramed into the Evolve ATS application. After you enter the desired filter criteria and select the desired job board, a list of candidate matches will be displayed.
You can click the save icon on the candidate to create a contact within Evolve ATS.
Once the Importing window disappears, the contact has successfully been imported into Evolve ATS.
Evolve ATS maps the following fields (if available) from Broadbean into the Evolve ATS contact instantaneously:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email array
- Telephone number array
- Address
- Job title
- Company
- Resume
- Cover letter
- Source = Job Board : <Job Board Name>
- Assigned To = Name of the user who added the contact

Q. If I do not have Broadbean Search yet, who should I contact?

Q. Which job board tiles/buttons do I see on Broadbean?
A. Only the job boards that are configured in your Broadbean Admin section. If you cannot access a job board, that job board name will not appear.
Q. What is the myCandidate tile inside Broadbean Search?
A. This is a paid service offering that Broadbean provides if customers are interested in a one-time sync of inserting their ATS candidates into Broadbean. Customers can save contacts into myCandidates. NOTE: Contacts saved into myCandidates do NOT go into Evolve ATS. Customers should keep all their contacts inside Evolve ATS.
Q. How do I view the myCandidate tile?
A. Only customers who have purchased the candidate sync functionality from Broadbean see the myCandidate tile.
Q. What does the Save function do?
A. Save has two functions:
- Save candidates to myCandidates if you have purchased the option to synchronize your ATS contacts into Broadbean. This allows you to search within your own contacts, but it is not ideal for the integration with Evolve ATS.
- Triggers the importation of a contact into Evolve ATS. This is the ideal option for the Evolve ATS integration.
Using CareerBuilder
Navigate to the Sourcing tab from your top ribbon menu, then click CareerBuilder.
Click the CareerBuilder Login Screen if the login screen doesn't automatically open. You will be directed to a login screen where you can enter your CareerBuilder credentials.
After you enter your CareerBuilder credentials, you can search for potential candidates. NOTE: This will be done within the CareerBuilder portal, not within Evolve ATS.
You can export potential candidates into Evolve ATS by clicking Jobvite.
NOTE: When exporting potential candidates into Evolve ATS, they will be added as contacts.
These contacts will be viewable in Evolve ATS under the Pipeline tab.
CareerBuilder FAQ
Q. Do I need an Engage license for the CareerBuilder/Jobvite Engage integration?
A. Yes.
Q. Can I bulk import contacts?
A. No, you must view each candidate and click Jobvite to import the contact.
Q. How do I know who imported which contact?
A. For now, the Assigned To value will be blank. In the future, CareerBuilder will improve the integration and modify the Assigned To value to be the email address of the person who logged into the CareerBuilder Recruitment Edge application. Therefore, you mustn't share your Recruitment Edge login; otherwise, it will be difficult to determine who imported the contact.
Q. Once the Assigned To functionality is available, and two users import the same contact, what will the AssignedTo value be?
A. The Assigned To value will be the email address of the LAST person who imported the contact.
Q. If the contact changes their profile, will those updates be reflected inside Evolve ATS after the contact is imported?
A. No, you must re-import the contact from CareerBuilder into Evolve ATS to get updated profile information. Evolve will not create a new contact but will update the existing one, assuming the email address is the same. However, a new contact is created if the email address is different.
