Introduction
DocuSign is a top-rated Digital Transaction Management vendor that provides the technology to send and receive documents and capture eSignatures for those documents (to learn more about DocuSign, see https://www.docusign.com/).
A significant utility of an Evolve/DocuSign integration is the capture of eSignatures for offer letters you send to candidates.

Evolve Account Configurations
Evolve Customers must have at least a DocuSign Business account with a commercial license or an Enterprise-level DocuSign account to use the Evolve DocuSign integration.
This section of the document lists the configurations required in the Evolve account to enable Evolve – DocuSign Integration, including:
- Enabling settings in Evolve
- Authorizing your DocuSign account in Evolve
- Connecting your individual user account
Enable Settings in Evolve
Submit a Help Center ticket to enable settings for the DocuSign integration.
DocuSign authorization in your Admin account
Once the Evolve team enables your DocuSign integration settings, you can authorize your DocuSign account in Evolve.
Navigate to your user menu > Admin > Integrations > View DocuSign > Edit.
Next, select the Enable eSignature for Offer Letters checkbox.
Update Communication Templates
Navigate to your user menu > Admin > Communications.
Click Offers.
Update the following email templates as needed:
- Offer letter – Company Signer eSignature - Message used to transmit offer letter to Company Signer.
- Offer letter – eSignature - Message to candidate used to transmit offer letter.
Update Offer Forms and Offer Letter Templates
Please refer to Multiple Offer Forms and Add Offer Letter Templates for instructions on updating and adding your offer forms and templates.
DocuSign authorization in your individual user account
To authorize individual access, navigate to My Account > Authorized Apps > DocuSign > Connect.
You will be redirected to the DocuSign login page. Enter your DocuSign credentials or create an account.
A pop-up may display requesting Jobvite access. Click Allow Access.
Here is the location of your DocuSign account number for entry in the Evolve user menu > Admin > Integrations > DocuSign and/or My Account > Authorized Apps areas.
Generating and Sending the Offer for Signature
Navigate to the Candidates tab.
Select the desired candidate.
Update the candidate Workflow State to Offer Generation.
Select the desired Offer Letter Template.
Select the desired Company Signer.
Select the desired Signing Order:
- Company signs first
- Candidate signs first
Click Generate.
Click Done.
Click Send Offer for Signature(s).
Review the email messages to the company and the candidate. If everything looks correct, click Send.
