Overview
Jobvite’s APIS are REST-based web services that exchange JSON.
REST (Representational State Transfer) exploits technology and protocols of the Web, using HTTP methods and JSON data representation to create, read, update, and delete resources. Jobvite uses REST APIs to deliver stateless, scalable interfaces that allow customers or integration partners to create and access data from Jobvite in real-time.
Onboarding APIs provide comprehensive data retrieval and have been designed in a generic way. By its nature they allow a single company to have multiple integrations against multiple different systems and achieve precise triggering of the integrations - as soon as something data is ready to be integrated. While the API is powerful, it is also relatively complex. As such, it is important to fully understand this guide before proceeding with integration.
