Overview

Within Evolve ATS, Jobvite CRM (Engage) admin users can create new contact statuses, edit existing statuses, and re-sort the status drop-down list in contacts. You can add new statuses, rename existing statuses, and resort to the list. You can also delete custom statuses, but you cannot delete preset statuses. Changes will be reflected in the status drop-down list and viewed in edit mode within contact details.

Default Contact Statuses

Contact Status Definition
Alumni Employee contacts are moved to this status when they leave your organization. This status is auto-assigned when an employee is removed from the system.
Available This status can be used to identify an available talent prospect. This is the default setting (auto-assigned) for contacts that have moved to the rejected status for all applications.
Candidate This status is for a contact who has applied for a position in your organization. This is the default setting for existing candidates that have a contact record created or have more than one or more active applications, meaning the candidate record does not have a status of Rejected for all applications.
Contacted This status can be used to identify talent prospects who have been contacted. It is auto-assigned when a contact is sent an email, including a Jobvite, through the system.
Do Not Contact This status can identify talent prospects that should not be contacted.
Do Not Hire This status can be used at your organization's discretion.
Employee This status can be used for contacts that are employees. This status is auto-assigned to a contact record when a corresponding employee record is created.
Future This status can be used to identify talent prospects that can be potential future candidates.
New This status is used for newly created contacts. This is the default setting for created and imported contacts.
Newly Hired This status is used for someone your organization has just hired. It is auto-assigned to a contact record whenever an existing candidate's status changes to Offer Accepted.
Not Interested This status can be used to identify talent prospects not interested in joining the organization.
Warm This status can be used to identify talent prospects who have expressed interest in joining the organization.

Customize Contact Statuses

Navigate to your user menu, then select Admin.

Click CRM.

Click View Contact Status.

Click + Add Contact Status.

Add a name for the new contact status in the text field.

Click Save.

The new contact status will be added to your list.

You can also change the standard and custom contact status name by clicking the edit icon.

You can only delete custom contact statuses.
