CRM Candidate Data API

Customers using third-party vendors for services not provided by the Recruitment Marketing (such as background checks) need a way to share candidate data from the CRM with those vendors, including custom fields, notes, tags, audience, lifecycle, and resumes.

What Changed

The CRM Candidate Data API makes it easier for third-party vendors to access and retrieve candidate information from the CRM. Vendors can pull data for multiple candidates based on specific criteria, such as candidates created, updated, or deleted within a certain date range. They can also exclude specific sources or lifecycles. After identifying the candidates, vendors can access details like education, work history, tags, notes, audience, lifecycle, custom fields, and resumes.

Roles

API user

Value

The CRM Candidate Data API offers more flexibility for larger customers using Recruitment Marketing. It helps streamline workflows by allowing third-party services to access the necessary candidate data, making processes like background checks more efficient and reducing the need for manual data transfers.

  • Improved efficiency with automated data access
  • Time savings by eliminating manual transfers
  • Faster background checks and other third-party services
  • Flexibility to integrate third-party services seamlessly

ATS & Onboarding

CRM in ATS

Recruiters waste valuable time switching between Jobvite’s CRM and ATS to access complete candidate information. Having CRM data separate from the ATS creates inefficient workflows, delays decision-making, and risks missing important candidate details stored across different platforms.

What Changed

Users can now easily navigate between CRM and ATS candidate records. In the Evolve ATS, they can see CRM notes, tags, custom fields, and consent status.

Roles

Company Administrator

  • Evolve ATS role with CRM permissions
  • Evolve RM role with View in Jobvite ATS privilege in Source

(You must have Evolve - Jobvite ATS + Recruitment Marketing CRM to use this feature)

Value

  • Make hiring decisions faster with all candidate information in one place
  • Save time by not switching between systems
  • Find candidate information quickly in one location
  • Spend less time searching and more time hiring

Configuration

Requires Configuration: Admins must update role permissions.

Automated Candidate Invitations

Recruiters spend a lot of time manually sending interview invitations and screening forms - about four clicks (12-15 seconds) per candidate. When follow-ups are forgotten, hiring is slowed down, and candidates miss important information. The current process takes extra time and risks missing steps.

What Changed

Send interview details and screening forms automatically when candidates advance Stages or accept interview invitations. Save time by eliminating manual steps while ensuring candidates receive timely communications every time.

Roles

Administrator

Value

This automation saves time on routine communications while ensuring candidates receive information promptly. Teams can focus on meaningful work instead of manual follow-ups.

Benefits:

  • Send forms automatically
  • Eliminate manual follow-ups
  • Reduce missed communications
  • Speed up the hiring process
  • Save time on each candidate
  • Keep candidates informed

Configuration

Requires Configuration: The admin must update their Interview Types

Automation Engine Sorting and Filtering

Admins managing multiple automations must scroll through long lists to find specific automation engines. Without sorting and filtering options, finding and managing automations takes unnecessary time and creates inefficient workflows.

What Changed

Find automation engines quickly with new sort and filter options. Sort by last update date and filter by active status to locate the engines you need to review or edit.

Value

Administrators can find and manage automation engines faster. Instead of manually searching through lists, they can quickly sort by date and filter by status to find exactly what they need.

  • Save time finding the right automation
  • Manage multiple automations more efficiently
  • Reduce manual searching and scrolling
  • Get to the automation you need right away
  • Keep track of recently updated automations

Bulk Update Requisition Status

Updating a requisition’s status is one of the most basic and frequent activities performed by recruiters and hiring managers in ATS. It becomes a challenge for the recruitment teams when they must simultaneously perform the same changes across several requisitions. Since this is impossible today, users must open each requisition and perform the same modifications several times.

What Changed

This new feature allows the users to update the statuses of multiple requisitions in one go.

Users can select multiple requisitions > Users can specify the new status for the selected requisitions and update them.

As part of the first version of this capability, users will be able to bulk update the requisitions to the following statuses:

  • Open
  • On Hold
  • Approve
  • Close
  • Reject
  • Retract
  • Submit for Approval

Roles

Recruiters, Hiring Managers

Value

This capability saves time when managing many requisitions. Teams can make the same changes to multiple positions simultaneously instead of updating each separately.

  • Update multiple requisitions statuses at once
  • Save time on routine updates
  • Maintain consistency across positions
  • Reduce manual work
  • Improve data accuracy
  • Handle large-volume updates efficiently

Indeed Apply with Screening Questions

Currently, Jobvite has Indeed Apply, but it does not include screening questions. For customers who have screening questions that are a critical part of their screening process, they have not been able to take advantage of Indeed Apply.

What Changed

Ask candidates key questions when they apply on Indeed. Get their answers and application details in one place, directly in Jobvite. Make faster decisions by seeing candidate qualifications right away.

Roles

Administrator

Value

  • Keep your screening standards while using Indeed Apply
  • Get complete candidate information in one submission
  • Maintain a simple application process for candidates
  • Save time by not having to follow up for missing information
  • Speed up hiring by identifying qualified candidates immediately

Configuration

Configuration Required: Specify which user roles or permissions must configure the feature.

Social Security Number Verification

Manually checking social security numbers against company records takes too much time and leaves room for mistakes. Hiring teams need a quicker, more reliable way to catch flagged social security numbers during onboarding to keep things accurate and compliant.

What Changed

Social Security Verification automatically checks social security numbers against an organization's records of non-eligible new hires during onboarding to ensure hiring eligibility and compliance.

*Please submit a Help Center ticket to have this feature enabled.

Roles

Administrator

Value

Organizations can simplify their onboarding process with automatic social security number verification to help maintain hiring standards and compliance with their organization's policies. Social Security Number Verification ensures hiring eligibility by identifying previously flagged SSNs before completing the hire.

  • Prevents rehiring of ineligible candidates
  • Automates eligibility checking
  • Supports compliance with hiring policies
  • Reduces onboarding risks
  • Saves time on manual verification

Depreciation: Email to Application Creation

The Email to Application Creation capability allows customers to create candidate applications by forwarding resumes to dedicated Jobvite email addresses (resume@jobvite.com or talent@jobvite.com). When a resume is sent to these addresses, Jobvite automatically creates a candidate profile from the attached resume.

This will be deprecated on February 6, 2025.

Why is this Feature being Deprecated?

  • Very few customers are using it (less than 0.5% of Jobvite ATS users)
  • It was built on outdated code, making it difficult to support and maintain
  • The infrastructure costs to keep the feature running are not sustainable

Apply Conditional Questions with Multiple Answers Parent

Traditional application forms force recruiters to show all questions to every candidate, making it hard to collect role-specific information efficiently. This leads to lengthy applications with irrelevant questions, higher candidate drop-off rates, and missed opportunities to gather important details. Recruiters need a way to show specific questions based on candidate responses to collect the correct information for each role.

What Changed

Create personalized application forms where follow-up questions appear based on multiple choice or multiple answers selected by the candidate. Show specific questions that help recruitment teams collect the correct information from each candidate.

Roles

Recruiters

Value

For Recruiters:

  • Collect more relevant candidate information
  • Create custom application flows
  • Reduce time reviewing unnecessary responses
  • Get better-organized candidate data
  • Simplify application management

For Candidates:

  • See only relevant questions
  • Complete applications faster
  • Better application experience
  • Less redundant information
  • Clear application process

Advanced Job Search in Recruitment Marketing Career Sites

Job seekers often leave career sites when they can't find the right jobs. This happens when they make typing mistakes, use different job titles, or try to match their military experience to civilian jobs. Both employers and job seekers miss out on good opportunities.

What Changed

Make it easier for candidates to find relevant jobs on your career site. Jobs appear even when people use different titles, make typing mistakes, or enter military service codes, ensuring qualified candidates find opportunities.

*Replaces Google Cloud Jobs search in Career Sites

Roles

API user

Value

  • Maximize career site traffic to attract the best candidates
  • Increase overall candidate conversion
  • Match job searches even with spelling mistakes and acronyms
  • Show job seekers more accurate search results
  • Reduce the number of visitors who leave without applying
